Womens Plus Renaissance Maiden Costume

The Womens Plus Renaissance Maiden Costume is an elaborate Renaissance outfit made with rich fabrics and ornate details that even the fairest maiden of all would be proud to wear. The Renaissance maiden costume features a crushed velvet full length dress with layered sleeves that have big puffed shoulders and exaggerated drapes. This costume has a sheer panel at the neckline and a pretty brocade inset on the bodice and is detailed with gold trim around the neck and waist. Renaissance maiden costumes have an inset of gold velvet in front and include a matching hat with an attached drape in the back. Halloween costumes or Renaissance fair costumes can be accessorized with a long Guinevere wig or a pair of pretty gold heels to create the look as shown.

Decolletage is a bit lower than anticipated, but I simply lined the sheer fabric. Also lined the back of the headpiece so it didn't have tacky white showing from any side. I got lots of compliments and an Honorable Mention in the costume contest (who can beat a paper doll or conservative boss dressed as a Rastafarian?) I'll definitely get future use out of this one and it will work into the family costume rotation well.
